Dr. Marjerrison's passion for health, wellness and preventative medicine has been lifelong. She established Beechwood Naturopathy with the goal of bringing high quality and honest naturopathic care to her community.
Dr. Marjerrison works with patients on any health concerns they would bring to their Medical Doctor including but not limited to exercise nutrition/performance, dermatology, digestive issues, fertility, female hormone concerns, mental health, chronic pain, arthritic conditions, colds/flus. She has also designed a cosmetic program as a Botox alternative.
Her 10 years of post secondary education includes an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, a graduate certificate in Health Risk Science and a doctorate in Naturopathy. Her vast clinical experience has ranged from interning at Toronto's first walk in Naturopathic Clinic, an Indigenous Health Centre, and a home based Naturopathic Clinic.
Her personal experiences have been enriched by family, global travel, competitive running, teaching yoga, and music. She is fascinated by others' life and health journeys, which is gradually fuelling special interest in the field of complexion diagnosis and naturopathic mental health.
Endlessly fascinated by the power of the human body, Dr. Marjerrison loves to challenge herself physically and mentally. Her current challenge? Practicing the "middle way." After strictly following the paleo diet for a number of years with regimented work out routines (up to 14 hours of training a week without serious injury) she has lately been curious about what her body will tell her by taking a step back, exercising more gently and re-introducing a variety of foods to her diet.
